Professor Krishnaswami Sankaranarayanan

Dr. Krishnaswami Sankaranarayanan is an expert of radiation genetics,
who was an editor of Mutation Research for a long time. He is a professor
of Leiden University which is one of the collaborative research organizations
of Nagasaki University COE Program. Dr. Sankaranarayanan is a commission
member of ICRP (The International Commission on Radiological Protection)
and will attend the ICRP conference on low-dose radiation risk to
be held in China and take the occasion to visit Nagasaki.
In this seminar Dr. Sankaranarayanan will give a talk on the current
status and prospects of the estimation of the genetic risks of exposure
to ionizing radiation in humans and his experience as a commission
member. |
