放射線関連甲状腺がん・乳がんの臨床および疫学的研究 |

21世紀COEワークショップ「放射線関連甲状腺がん・乳がんの臨床および疫学的研究」が2004年3月9、10日の両日、長崎大学医学部ポンペ会館で開催されました。総計60名に上る、旧ソ連邦・欧米諸国のコンソーシアム参加(予定)機関からの代表者、および学内外の研究者各位のご参加を得て、ワークショップは成功裏に終了しました。
ワークショップは、拠点リーダーの朝長万左男教授による開会の挨拶で始まりました。本ワークショップは、低線量あるいは低線量率放射線被曝の人体影響を解明する上での困難を、疫学、病理学、細胞生物学、臨床等の専門家が協力して克服することを目的に開催されたもので、それぞれの分野の専門家が合計13の講演を行いました。
ワークショップ最終日には、山下俊一教授と柴田義貞教授が作成したワークショップの纏めの原案を討議し、一部加筆修正した後、参加者全員の承認を得て、ワークショップは2日間の日程を終え閉幕しました。本シンポジウムのプログラムは以下のとおりです。
