- The Plan for establishing the Global Strategic Center for Radiation Risk Control in Nagasaki University has been competitively accepted by the Japan Society for Promotion of Sciences (JSPS).
Based on assessments of the 21st Century COE Program,"International Consortium of Radiation Medical Sciences and Medical Care for Hibakusha"in Nagasaki University from 2002 to 2007, and verifications of its results, our Global COE Program will establish the World-top class Center for Radiation Health Risk Control together with a new education and research functions of graduate schools, which will foster highly creative young researchers. The selection results and outlines of the projects for 2007FY Global COE Program have been introduced at the homepage of JSPS (http://www.jsps.go.jp/j-globalcoe/) and related information on human recruitment to our Global COE Program will be appeared at this COE homepage soon.
