This painting is for memory of my first day in the lab. So excited...I have never seen even simple things before. Everything is reflected in the eyes.
Doing chromosome experiment (during dropping of fixed cell suspension). It is a very important and technically difficult step in this experiment, which is supported by the idea that I will take look at the real chromosomes soon!
Looking at the chromosome rearrangements using FISH analysis. Near the right hand, there is a radial chromosome, which is occurred as a result of fusion of two separated chromosomes.
Not all experiments are successful. Just be ready for it. On the table, there are many slideglasses with failed chromosome samples.
During the experiment, I try to find the answer how the DNA is repaired in different situations. Various DNA repair factors work in unknown and unclear ways like these cats-builders.
I was surprised that washing of laboratory dishes can inspire to painting. Usually it is the last step of the experiment before receiving the data. So, you are motivated to do it faster and then run to look at the results.
Whole body counter: Measuring of internal exposure is in progress.
