| Visiting Report of Mongolia |  |

Professor Takehiko Koji, Vice President of Nagasaki University, Professor Masao Tomonaga, Dean of Graduate School of Biomedical Sciences, Mr Shiro Nishimura Secretarial Chief of Graduate School of Biomedical Sciences and Professor Noboru Takamura, Department of Radiation Epidemiology visited Ulaan Baatar, Mongolia from 21 to 25 June 2008. They visited Health Science University of Mongolia in Ulaan Baatar and participated in the signing ceremony of the agreement between both universities. At the ceremony, Professor Koji outlined the activities of Nagasaki University and Professor Tomonaga reviewed current and future directions of collaboration between universities. Professor Nalantoya, Vice President of Health Science University of Mongolia also expressed her high expectation for the future collaboration between two universities.
Furthermore, they visited Institute of Environmental Monitoring and evaluated the current situation of radiation monitoring in Mongolia, and discussed about future possibility in this area, within a framework of Global COE.
