- Case studies and examples with regard to nuclear power and radiation risk -

Dr. Tomoko Tsuchiya
Senior Researcher, Socio-Economic Research Center,
Central Research Institute of Electric Power Industry, Japan

The purpose of risk communication activities is not to persuade the public, but to aim at building the relationship which all stakeholders cooperate to manage risks. I introduce some researches and activities with regard to nuclear power and radiation risk, to show how we (risk communicators, facilitators, and experts) should do in the real world to incarnate the idea of risk communication.
