The brain science of the neurodegeneration disease
- Diabetes type II as risk factor for Alzheimer’s dementia -

There are ALZHEIMER disease and PARKINSON disease as a representative disease of the neurodegeneration of the brain. A hereditary base is important, but the influence of the environmental parameter attracts attention of the onset, too. In addition, participation of the oxidative stress is important in the denaturation mechanism, and interest is held in a commonality with the mechanism that radiation gives to nervous system. He speaks relevance with diabetes and ALZHEIMER disease and possibility of the oxidative stress existence in the background this time. Prof. Peter Riederer is a professor of University of Wurzburg which has an agreement on academic exchange with Nagasaki University. He is known as the researcher who submitted most articles about ALZHEIMER disease PARKINSON disease in a year in the world.
