第6回国際シンポジウム
放射線健康リスク管理への新たな挑戦 |
|
平成19年度に採択された長崎大学グローバルCOEプログラム「放射線健康リスク制御国際戦略拠点」の最終年度にあたり、第6回国際シンポジウム「放射線健康リスク管理への新たな挑戦」が2011年10月20日から22日の日程で、長崎大学医学部良順会館にて開催されました。WHO本部、IAEA、IARCや旧ソ連邦・欧米諸国のコンソーシアム参加機関からの招聘者を含め、総計150名に上る研究者のご参加を得て、シンポジウムは成功裏に終了しました。

シンポジウムは片峰 茂学長による開会挨拶で始まり、大久保利晃(財団法人放射線影響研究所 理事長)、神谷研二(広島大学原爆放射線医科学研究所 所長)、長瀧重信(長崎大学名誉教授)の来賓の方々より御祝辞をいただいた後、拠点リーダーの山下俊一教授による本プログラム成果のまとめと福島での活動概要紹介の講演が行われました。丹羽太貫(京都大学名誉教授)、Tom K. Hei (コロンビア大学医療センター 放射線研究センター 教授)、Zhanat Carr(WHO本部 研究員)、Roy E. Shore (財団法人 放射線影響研究所 広島研究所 副理事長)、Rethy K. Chhem (IAEA 本部長)、酒井一夫(独立行政法人 放射線医学総合研究所 放射線防護研究センター センター長)による基調講演でシンポジウムの第1日を終了しました。第2、3日は、プログラムの3つの研究領域「放射線基礎生命科学研究」「原爆医療研究」「国際放射線保健医療研究」に加えて、「福島第一原発事故関連問題」と「放射線危機管理と防護」のセッションにおいて合計31の講演がありました。この4年間にわたる研究成果を整理し、新学際領域「被ばく医療学」を推進すると同時に、福島第一原発事故後の放射線健康リスク管理の方向性とそのあり方について議論しました。本シンポジウムの講演は紀要として平成23年度末に出版される予定です。 |
